Last week, Bag Most Travelled celebrated its first birthday! Hooray!!! Seriously, where did 2015 go?! A few posts ago, I recapped the last 6 months and it truly amazes me what’s the same and what’s now different, where you gain clarity and which bucket list items were ticked off. A huge thank you to everyone who’ve supported us in real life and online. You know who you are! 🙂
Short trip, long trip, with friends or without, near or far — doesn’t matter what type of travel, as long as you just go! Once you’ve got that idea in your head, let the dream become a reality!

You might have noticed a traveller that frequents our trips. He’s fun-loving, friendly and unassuming. He’s keen for any adventure and willing to go just about anywhere. He’s even got his own hashtag! His name is Belvadere Bear ❤
At home, making trips to the supermarket or running around doing errands are hardly an exciting adventure. I’m known for my ‘errand days’. It’s just a part of your mainstream life. When you’re travelling, supermarkets, pharmacies and the like are sources of entertainment, amusement, information and free stuff. You can meet the most interesting people who’ll share their travel tips or pearls of wisdom on life, love and growing old.
If you started reading the blog when we first launched it, you would have read that we were dividing our time between Perth and the Pilbara (North-West region of Western Australia). We lived apart for five months after stuck side-by-side for 12 months backpacking around the world. Life after travelling was hard [yes that’s right, feel sorry for me. Heh] It was definitely strange not seeing each other every day. We do not envy anyone who have to be away from loved ones on a regular basis.
Like any decent TV show, you might have noticed that we’ve been on a short hiatus. We’d love for travel to be what we do 24/7 but sometimes, our ‘real’ mainstream life gets in the way. However, that doesn’t mean things haven’t been going on behind the scenes (such as trip planning, blog brainstorming and the like)!
Thank you for your patience and your support. You’ll be seeing heaps of brand new content really soon! Promise!
